Facilities
Our horses are healthy, happy and content under the loving care
of Terrie Miles, our new Horse Health and Barns Manager, and her
staff. Choose one of our three charming barns, each offering 12X12
stalls, mats, fans, tack rooms, and wash stalls. We also offer limited
pasture boarding. Each stall is cleaned twice daily, seven days a
week. Feed and hay is given 2 to 3 times daily based on your horse's
needs, and individual turnouts are available for each horse.
Our four stall south-facing California style Barn has its own feed
room and tack room, and is occasionally available for long term seasonal
rental.
Our five stall insulated center-aisle Morton Barn also has its own
tack room and trainer's office.
Our six stall center-aisle Clubhouse Barn is attached to our comfy
air-conditioned clubhouse.
We have two pond-screened, all-weather-surface outdoor riding and
lesson arenas, measuring 250 feet x 150 feet and 180 feet x 100 feet,
respectively. One is typically set up for hunter/jumpers, and one
for dressage. These arenas are always available for students use.
The arenas are drug and watered as needed.
There are many areas where parents and visitors can sit and enjoy
the farm and watch all the activities. Our wonderful clubhouse/training
office features a meeting room, refrigerator, air conditioning, and
comfy overstuffed chairs to sit and relax in between the day's events.
During special events we also have a bathroom, shower, and kitchen
that are open to all students and guests.
Our students and boarders enjoy our facility all year round. Come
tour our facility; you won't be disappointed. All parents and students
coming to the University of Florida and Santa Fe CC are encouraged
to come the Spring before Fall enrollment!
